2. Use of the Service

2.1 Eligibility

To use the Service, you must be at least 18 years old and capable of forming a binding contract. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements.

2.2 Permitted Use

CoverForge is designed to assist you in generating personalized cover letters for your personal job applications. You may use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose.
  • Resell, redistribute, or commercially exploit the Service or any content generated by the Service.
  • Engage in any activity that disrupts or interferes with the Service, including spamming or attempting to gain unauthorized access to our systems.

2.3 Free and Premium Plans

CoverForge offers a Free Plan that allows you to generate one cover letter. For additional features and unlimited cover letter generation, you may subscribe to our Premium Plan, which auto-renews monthly unless canceled through your account settings.

3. Payments and Refunds

3.1 Payment Processing

All payments for Premium subscriptions are processed securely through our third-party payment processor, Stripe. By subscribing, you agree to Stripe's terms and conditions.

3.2 Refunds

If you are dissatisfied with the Service, you may request a refund within 30 days of your purchase, provided you have not generated any cover letters during that period. To request a refund, contact us at support@coverforge.ai.

4. User Responsibilities

You are solely responsible for:

  • The accuracy and completeness of the information you provide to the Service.
  • Ensuring that your use of the Service complies with all applicable laws and regulations.
  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and restricting access to your account.

5. Limitation of Liability

CoverForge is a tool to assist you in creating cover letters and is not a guarantee of employment or job success. We are not liable for:

  • Any outcomes resulting from your use of the Service, including job applications or interviews.
  • Any loss or damage arising from your reliance on the Service or content generated by the Service.
  • Any unauthorized access to or use of your data, except as required by law.

6. Intellectual Property

All content generated by the Service, including cover letters, is owned by you. However, CoverForge retains all rights, title, and interest in the Service itself, including all software, algorithms, and intellectual property used to provide the Service.

7. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, for any reason, including violation of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease.

8. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by posting the updated Terms on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
